In this month's programs, she tells the stories represented by different lei of Hawai`i. She begins the series with the story of the Lehua. May 1 - Lei Day!!!! Tuesday. Hawai`i Lei Festival theme for 2007 is Mo`olelo o nā Lei - "Stories of the Lei." The festival takes place at Mo`oheau Band Stand and includes lei display and competition, hula, and music. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the festivities!
