Welcome to the Fountain Gallery at the Wailoa Center!

My father - one of the finest artists I know,  is standing with me by the Laka altar, critiquing my work.

The altar to Laka, partron diety of hula,
includes la`i, maile, pala`a, `ie`ie
and other special plants.
Laka granted Hi`iaka and Hopoe the ability to dance hula.
That is why we place our skirts, lei, and kupe`e on it.

     Storyteller at work!

Keoki Kahumoku, friend, storyteller, musician, dad, hunter, farmer, teacher - a man of MANY talents!

And he plays Ka Uluwehi o ke Kai really well, too!

And here we make Michel dance My Yellow Ginger Lei.

Kahalelaukoa Ell also shot photos of the reception.
Visit the AstroDay website to see them.
