The first and second kahili in the procession were crafted by Leilehua. Pu`uhonua collection.
Small kahili lele crafted by Leileua. Natural rooster hackle and rooster tail feathers, Hand twisted hau thread, wood and bone handle. Handle painted to replicate bone inlay at midsection. Pu`uhonua collection.
Two kahili made from the feathers of the original park kahili. The original kahili had become damaged by insects and age, and were re-fashioned into styles used prior to Europen contact and shortly after European contact. Dyed rooster hackle, cotton thread, coconut frond midrib, and `ohi`a wood poles. Pu`uhonua collection.
