Owner/editor of editorial consultancy providing copy and art for and
about Hawai`i for almost two decades. Yuen Media Services has
recently added a Wiki Wiki Web Design service.
1998-2001 Stage design at Aloha Theater:
Kainaliu-Kona, Hawai`i: Her work has included stages for Keola Beamer, Ken Emmerson
and Michaelle Edwards, Laurie Lewis and Tom Rozum, The Voggy Mountain
Ramblers, and Pete and Joan Wernick.
1995-1997 Big Island
Business Magazine: Editor at large. Provided stories, columns, artwork for Hawai`i based
entrepreneur-focused magazine of the Big Island Products Board.
1992-1994 Space Age Publishing Company:
Contracted as Hawai`i Editor for two years. Wrote 30 percent of copy. Responsible for
production of daily Asia focused publication on space science, technology, and commerce. Assisted with production of America /
Europe focused daily edition. Assisted with production of weekly publication on same topics with educational slant. Directed a
feasibility study. Continuing to provide consulting services.
1994 Hawai`i State Representative Virginia
Isbell Campaign: Wrote, designed, and produced campaign material, wrote and
coordinated radio and television spots for winning candidate.
1992 Bishop Museum Amy Greenwell Ethnobotanical
Garden: Wrote and illustrated teachers' guide and educational handouts for the
ethnobotanical gradeschool program.
1991-1992 International Media Productions: Wrote
television advertising scripts, created storyboards, and worked as grip for Kailua-Kona based
production company. Also handled lighting, makeup, and coached talent.
1989 Diamond Papaya: Talent for
cooking show which aired in Japan
1986-1988 Shanna Productions:
"Model mother" for a hand-loomed clothing manufacturer based
in Puna, Hawai`i. Coordinated models for photo shoots and product shows.
Models ranged in age from pre-school to late 50s.
1985 Miko Meats: Recipe
development and production of a brochure on meat products.
1983-1990 Hawai`i Tribune Herald: Wrote weekly
cooking column.
KHLO Radio: Produced weekly food show in conjunction with cooking column.
1981-1988 Data Tamers:
Owned and operated Value Added Retailer for computer products. Services
included
hardware repair and ergonomic systems design.

Unlimited: Owned and operated odd-job service which gradually began
specializing in serving the needs of professional and communications
