Sunday, April 1 - Talents of Kona; Leilehua sits in as "Duncan" with Seamus McTrailer and the Poor Relations in this Waldorf School Kinderhaus fundraiser headlined by Jesse Colin Young. Call Kona Pacific School at 1-808-324-4606 for more information.

Saturday, April 14 - Spring Concert and Celebration of Hawaiian Culture at the Pu`uhonua o Honaunau Nat'l Historical Park and at the Aloha Theater. Phone Yuen Media Services, 1-800-YES-YUEN.

Saturday, April 21 - Basically Books; Leilehua dances hula for George Kahumoku Jr. at the signing of his new book, A Hawaiian Life. His CDs also will be available. 1:00 pm.

Sunday, April 22 - Hilo; Leilehua hosts George Kahumoku Jr.'s Hilo Slack Key Guitar Workshop. For info call Yuen Media Services, 1-800-YES-YUEN.

Saturday, May 5 - Hilo, 10:00 am - 12:00 noon; Leilehua will be one of the students at George Kahumoku, Jr.'s slack key workshop at the East Hawai`i Cultural Center. 935-9835.

Saturday, May 5 - Honomu - 12:30 pm - 1:15 pm; Leilehua dances hula for George Kahumoku, Jr. at the Honomu Ginger Festival. Phone Sonia at 963-5468 or e-mail akakainn@gte.net 

Saturday, May 5 - Hilo, 2:00 pm; Leilehua dances hula for George Kahumoku, Jr. at Border's Books in Hilo.

Sunday, May 6 - Kona, 2:00 pm; Leilehua dances hula for George Kahumoku, Jr. at Border's Books in Kailua-Kona.

Saturday, May 12 - Hilo; Leilehua hosts Moanalani Beamer and Nona Beamer in a hula intensive workshop for the members of Halau Hula Na Mohala Hala`i. Phone 1-808-935-1722 and leave msg for more information and to join halau to be eligible to take this special workshop. We will study Ku`u Hoa, written by Aunty Nona’s father for her mother, and Pupu Hinu Hinu, writen by Aunty Nona. If we study hard, we may have time for Hene Hene and Green Rose Hula. $50 plus $15 materials fee, light lunch provided
